I was eager to become glasses-free, so when my doctor informed me that my eyes were too dry to safely undergo LASIK surgery, I was really disappointed. Then, he offered me a similar procedure called a photorefractive keratotomy (or PRK) that I was a candidate for and would have the same outcome as LASIK. I jumped at the chance and after a short recovery; I am seeing 20/15. Without glasses or contacts, my vision is BETTER than perfect! I am so thankful to The Eye Clinic Surgicenter providers and staff who treated me courteously, helped me to feel comfortable before, during, and after my procedure, and who ultimately gave me exemplary vision.
