February is Low Vision Awareness Month
This is going to be a busy, exciting month at The Eye Clinic Surgicenter. Here’s what’s happening:
February is Low Vision Awareness month. In the past, our Clinic has hosted Low Vision Workshops during one day in February. This year, however, we have decided to make low vision an even bigger priority. Every Monday through Thursday from 2-4 p.m. we will be demonstrating low vision devices at The Eye Clinic Surgicenter. We will also be having an INVENTORY REDUCTION SALE with savings on many items. Those who attend will be entered in a drawing for a free low vision device at the end of the month! So take advantage of this month of demonstrations and tips for living with low vision!

February for our doctors—Dr. LaGreca will be spending a week in Mexico helping those who don’t have access to health care. He will be busy removing cataracts and treating eye diseases in remote villages of southern Mexico. Dr. Erpenbach will be busy “holding down the fort” here in Billings so if you need us, we’ll be here as always.

Our Optical Department is introducing a new line of design eyewear by London designer Ted Baker. We have both men’s and ladies’ styles at a very reasonable price. Come in and check out the fun styles!
With winter weather comes drier air in our homes due to our heaters. If you suffer from seasonal allergies or dry eyes, contact our doctors to find out which drops will work best for you. This is more than just a comfort issue. The risk of infection increases when the tear film is deficient. Please tell our doctors if you are experiencing itchy or burning or watering eyes. They will prescribe a treatment program that will not only make you more comfortable, but healthier too.

We now have family billing. If you’d like to only receive one statement for your entire family, please let our front desk or billing staff know.
The Eye Clinic Surgicenter is dedicated to help members of our community so we’ve started a new program to help educate the public on various eye care and health issues. If you are a member of or an activities director at a Nursing Home or Assisted Living facility please contact Suzanne in our office (252-6608) to set up a presentation. We will be happy to bring our knowledge to you. Plus, enjoy a free mini-eyeglass tune up while we’re there.
